Don MacGregor – South and West Wales
Don is an Anglican priest living on the wild west coast of Pembrokeshire in Wales. In earlier life, he was a science teacher and youth worker in the Midlands, and has also been chaplain to Loughborough University.
His journey has been an interesting one, from 1970s eco-spirituality to the New Age movement of the 80s to Theosophy and then into evangelical-charismatic Christianity. From there he has moved on into mystical and esoteric Christianity, meditation, and interfaith work. He now sees the way ahead as a universal spirituality, and Christianity as a path of transformation, one path amongst many.
He is married with three adult daughters. He is an active member of CANA Core Group, one of our linked organisations. In 2012 he wrote the book called Blue Sky God – the Evolution of Science and Christianity which challenges both the prevailing scientific paradigm and the traditional view of Christianity. He hopes to write a lot more when he retires from the day job!
His website is at www.donmacgregor.co.uk.
